11am-1pm ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE
From the local to the global, what are the environmental justice issues around climate change impacts and solutions? Who benefits, who bears the burdens, and who participates in decision-making? In preparation for the G20, join us for a workshop and discussion about climate justice in Canada.

1-2 LUNCH

2-3 VOCAL PROJECTION AND CARE FOR ACTIVISTS
Losing your voice at the first march would really suck. This workshop will teach how to vocally project without losing your voice or doing any long term damage. We will practice some basic breathing and core strengthening exercises to practice yelling properly and learn some easy recipes for throat-soothing drinks. Please bring water, and try to get sleep the night before. Led by local singer/activist/generally loud person Janice Lee.

3-5 KNOW YOUR RIGHTS
What rights do you have when confronted by the police?
What "rights" do the police have that you don't?
What rights do "citizen journalists" have?
What do you need to know and say if you are arrested?

5-6 DEMOCRACY 101 FILM SCREENING
DEMOCRACY 101 is a short documentary about the G20 demonstrations in Pittsburgh in the summer of 2009. Created by the Indy Media Center, the film features interviews with people involved in G20 resistance and captures scenes of mass arrests and police brutality.
